Piano Delivery

I spoke to Greg about getting a small piano for my home. I am thrilled with the Wurlitzer Spinet he found, tuned and delivered for me. It is absolutely beautiful and sounds amazing. Greg and his 2 associates delivered the piano to my house 6 days before Christmas. They were very polite and efficient. I could not be happier with the service we received from Greg and Newsong Piano Rebuilders. He is highly recommended.

Greg has tuned my 80+ year old piano for years. He refinished the outside and inside of it and made it beyond beautiful again. He moved it for us while doing improvements in our old house and moved it again when we moved. He is the most kind, gracious man and his associates are as well. I wouldn't call anyone else for my piano.

Piano Restoration

Beautiful restoration of my mom’s piano from childhood. It had been painted and not taken care of. We got it back & Newsong picked it up. What they brought back is just breathtaking! I’m so happy with it! You guys are awesome!

My piano was old, out of tune, and in need of major repair according to one repairman. He charged $125.00 for the inspection without any repair and told me that only thousands of dollars of work would make the piano playable again. I called Newsong two years (and no piano-playing) later. Mr. Lawrence agreed to come to my home to look at the piano and would not charge me unless he could repair my piano. He gave me three options at widely varying prices and was gracious when I chose the least expensive option. I have not played in a long time and never played well, but the small repairs he did that day gave the piano a lighter touch, repaired the broken keys and tuned the instrument well enough that I enjoy playing. If I spend as much time as I would like in practicing, I will probably undertake the “big fix”. I will certainly call Newsong Piano to do the work. 4/2014

I have owned a Kawai GE2 5’7″ Grand for over 20 years, and Greg Lawrence of Newsong has provided continuous service since the day I received it. His service and support is top quality. I am now rebuilding a recently acquired second piano, which is a 1948 Baldwin Acrosonic and I know that Greg’s work will be of the highest quality. The Baldwin will be a “learning” instrument for my 4 year old grandson since it has such a light and responsive action along with superb build quality. I keep my instruments in good shape which means frequent tuning and occasionally more elaborate work such as replacing hammers, regulating, voicing, etc. And so I can say from experience that there is none better than Greg and his staff in the Atlanta metro area. 4/2014

I used Newsong to move a piano I bought. I bought the piano used and it came with a broken leg that was covered with white cement from a prior repair attempt we thought would be hard to get off. Mr. Lawrence repaired the leg so well you cannot even tell it was ever broken. He also repaired a broken key, replaced missing knobs on the cover and polished the pedals all at no extra charge. I was delighted when he brought my piano to my house the next day and it had new knobs, which I was not expecting. He was very polite and professional and seemed very knowledgeable, honest and trustworthy. When I’m ready to have the piano tuned, I will definitely call him. I would recommend Newsong to friends and family for piano moving and repair.

Greg is great! He moved my U3 across town. Then, just last week, he came back and tuned it up. Newsong was always courteous and punctual. I highly recommend them for any piano work you have. 10/2012

Greg did a fantastic job tuning my 100 + year old upright piano. They don’t make em like this one anymore, and I needed an expert to keep it in great playing condition. Greg did a great job, was very forthcoming on information about the best way to care for the piano going forward, and at a price I couldn’t get elsewhere. I would recommend Greg to everyone that is looking for a honest, knowledgeable professional. 5 stars all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jeff 2/2012

Baby grand piano moved without incident! From the first phone call, Greg was courteous and respectful. Piano was heavily padded and protected en route, and once here, he and his son used a push cart with rubber wheels to not damage hardwoods in the house. They were also patient as we tried to decide the best place for the piano, and we ultimately followed their advice on placement. Would definitely recommend and use again. Thanks! 2/2012

One of the best things to come out of the decision to pull up our carpet and put down new hardwood floors was finding Greg Lawrence and hiring him to move our massive piano! Greg was extremely courteous and professional in his visit to move our antique Chickering piano and, if possible, even more so when he returned to place it back in the room. He also provided additional top-notch service tuning the piano – and it was quite a challenge! 5 stars for New Song…I’d give 10 if I could! 1/2012
